and magazines. Originally the pattern was described as
"Ladies' divided skirt. Suitable for cross-saddle riding or
for outdoor sports. In two lengths; closing in front."
Detailed directions. Pattern dates circa 1922.
Suggested fabrics: Divided skirts were made of wool
novelty stripe, wool flannel, prunella cloth, wool pongee,
wool homespun, and wool tweed. The colors were blue, tan,
white, black, brown, turquoise blue, and navy blue.
