Pattern #1747: "Sew-Simple" One-Piece Dress: Circa
1944-1945
Size: 38" bust, 41" hips.
This pattern was published by The Hollywood Pattern
Company. It was originally described as "Graduated front
panel in one piece from neck to hem. Skirt has back panel
and joins the bodice at waist-line at sides and back. Soft
pleats from collarless cut-out neck-line - tied bow. Long
fitted sleeves and very short gathered sleeves. Tie belt
from side-front seams." Detailed illustrated directions.
Pattern dates circa 1944-1945.
Suggested fabrics: Rayon crepe, and French-type crepe.
The colors were royal blue, black, gold, brown, cranberry
red, slate blue, evergreen and white ground with floral
print.
Materials required: 3-1/8 Yds. 36" fabric.
