This pattern was published by an independent pattern
company or one of the many patterns sold through newspapers
and magazines. Originally the pattern was described as
"Ladies' and Misses' Slip-on Dress, V-shaped neck, front and
back, having an applied neck band that terminates in
tie-strings. Attached to pointed bands. Set-in, dart-fitted
sleeves with turn-back cuffs." Detailed illustrated
directions. Pattern dates circa 1925-1926.
Suggested fabrics: Slip-on V-neck dresses were made of
wool serge, twill back velveteen, silk flat crepe, silk and
wool bengaline, homespun wool and silk and wool jersey. The
colors were navy blue, mahogany, black, brown, bisque tan,
French blue and blue.
