Originally the pattern was described as "This pattern
reproduces exactly the original garment of this design made
in Paris by Chantal. Ladies' and Misses' slip-on dress with
overblouse front, finished with bows of material, closing on
left shoulder and at left underarm seam. Scalloped armholes
with set-in sleeves. Attached four-piece wrap-around skirt
with three-piece yoke top." Illustrated detailed directions.
Pattern dates circa 1932-1933.
Suggested fabrics: Chantal design dresses were made of
georgette, flat crepe, wool crepe, and linen. The colors
were chona brown, black, mulberry, and cruise blue.
Materials required: 4-3/4 Yds. 36" wide fabric.
