This pattern was published by The Paris Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "This pattern reproduces exactly the original garment of this design made in Paris by Chantal. Ladies' and Misses' slip-on dress with overblouse front, finished with bows of material, closing on left shoulder and at left underarm seam. Scalloped armholes with set-in sleeves. Attached four-piece wrap-around skirt with three-piece yoke top." Illustrated detailed directions. Pattern dates circa 1932-1933.
Suggested fabrics: Chantal design dresses were made of georgette, flat crepe, wool crepe, and linen. The colors were chona brown, black, mulberry, and cruise blue.
