The full bloused front and the bishop sleeves can be shirred or smocked. The blouse is hung on a form fitting, boned lining which closes at the center front. The blouse itself closes at the left front. Make a matching waist belt and neck stock with bows in the back as illustrated.
The pattern is multi-sized 10 through 16. Sizes 10-12 require 3-1/2 Yds., sizes 14-16 require 3-3/4 Yds. 45 inch wide silk pongee for a soft romantic look or Honan silk or cotton calico (starched after making) for a crisp look.
